Dodge Hid Conversion are HID conversion kits universal?
i wanted to buy an HID conversion kit for my 95 dodge intrepid. (i really need brighter lights!). i bought bulbs on ebay for $13 (5000k Zenon HID) but they arent very bright. someone told me that getting the HID conversion will solve this problem. (some kits i saw came with bulbs anyway)
i cant rely to heavily on this car as it is 13 years old now.
my question is that if i hook up the conversion kit on my dodge, and the car suddenly dies, would i be able to install that same kit into my 2000 toyota sienna?
im not complaining about not being able to see- its just that with 5000k zenon lights, i expected the road to light up. instead i have 2 white beams which are about as bright as my old halogens.
I highly doubt you will find a kit to fit your car that is actually DOT-approved. If you put a non-approved set in, you will blind other drivers, but only until your car is ruled off the road, registration suspended until regulation lights are installed. Clean your headlamp lenses if you have a problem seeing. If that doesn't help, go to an opthamologist. If you can't see with Xenon-halogen bulbs, you have a bad lens or bad eyesight.

if you buy a hid light kit they should come with a real good set of instructions with them,id go by the instructions they wire in fairly simple ,but use the paper they gave you with the lights,good luck.
