LED Light problem?
So i have a Scan Pod from walmart..its a decoy LED alarm light...it has 2 wires, RED BLACK AND YELLOW. According to the instructions its POS Main power, Constant 12v. and ground...now i have a little switch box with 2 Double AA batteries inside...with a red and black wire comming out and im trying to get this to light up the LED but its not working...any ideas how i can get this light on without useing a 12V from my car...like u know how u light a light bulb up with a battery an some wire..something like that...thanks..anything will help
Just hook it up to a little 9V battery. Be careful to get the polarities right.
It won't be quite as bright, but it should be good enough.
Led Orange Motorcycle rainbow motorcycle LED lights?
I'm looking for a set of lights for a motorcycle. I saw a really nice set at the IX center at a motorcycle show but now i'm not sure where to find them. They cycled through the color spectrum from red blending into orange blending into yellow and etc. If anyone has any idea where i could find these lights online or if they're on ebay somewhere and i'm missing them that would be great. I'd like to make them a fathers day present.

Led Car Backup Applying to QUT and TAFE QLD after exclusion from UQ?
Hi,
So I had a totally shyte year with a cpl of friends passing away in a car accident, being forced to relocate twice and suffering from a medical condition that required surgery!
As a result of this my overall GPA plummeted to like a 3.75 and has led to me being asked to provide evidence as to why I should be allowed re-enrolment in the immediate semester (this is at UQ in a BSc (I'm 3rd/final yr)). So, as a backup I've applied at QUT and TAFE for nursing, midwifery and secondary education.
Now in the QUT guidelines it says exclusion from another tertiary institute is only counted against you when applying for a 'like' course
So my query is: is nursing, midwifery or education (secondary) 'un-like' enough to get into either of these institutes or am I going to be on hiatus from study for a year and is there anywhere/anyway I can get into another institute/field of study???
You can provide evidence to UQ as to why you did so bad this year and keep going with science. You can get a doctors certificate and ask what else they would want you to provide. If you talked to your course coordinator they would definitely sympathise with your situation and give you a chance to continue. im doing science at QUT but would rather have gone to UQ it is so much nicer than anywhere else to study.

1156(BA15s) 3w with lens led car reverse lights
VRCD400-SDU has NO power?
I installed it on Honda Accord 1994
First It worked perfectly,
As time passed on, led started to get weaker and weaker
and later it died out,
and as it died out the clock on the car died too(the clock resets itself
everytime i turn on my ignition), so i knew it was the fuse
and i popped the hood and replaced the blown fuse(7.5 amp radio backup)
after i replaced it, clock came back on, but not the radio
red light started blinking(a lot fainter than it did when it worked perfectly)
but nothing work, when i turn on the head light, blue light comes on the led
but it wont work at all,
I checked fuses for the radio, but none of them was blown,
What should I do?
And i want to know if the head unit failed or if it's the wiring or something else
Only thing I can think of real quick to troubleshoot is to pull the deck out hook both the red and yellow wire to the battery instead of to the remote to the car and see if it all functions the same. now you failed to mention, does the unit still play and work and only the display not working? If its just the display, then probably the IC chip for the display has gone out on the board. Similar thing happened to me, got a nasty short and popped through the fuse and fried the chip on the deck, but everything worked just fine and all that was affected was the display and remote function. I just noticed that your deck is a roadmaster :/ how long have you had it? I wouldnt expect it to last that long... got to get something made to quality man
