So I have another question about headlights. Any advice?

I want to upgrade my lights to the RECON projector headlights. I'm definitley getting 8000k or 10000k hid lows, highs, and fogs with LED turn signals, clear cornered, the whol nine yards. Would the projectors be better? Will these lights definitley fit the hid bulbs and put out a better light?

you might want to investigate what bulb size would fit on the projector headlight. Is often use an H3 low beam or H1. I done a few projector headlight upgrades. I think the 8k would be nice with the projectors. I did some projectors on my 99 civic Ex and I bought my HID kits from www.ultrahid.com. They have a great product and good prices.

SOCOM debuted August 27, 2002 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon debuted December 1, 2002. Both are PS2 launch dates.

However, a PC version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon debuted on November 13, 2001.

Green Headlight

Green Sticky substance in car headlight contact switch.?

My friend and I had to take apart his dash control panel to work on the switch that controls the headlights and dash backlights because it was shorting out causing the lights to flicker. You could smell burning near the panel and when we opened the actual switch up it had a small amount of a black oil like substance and a large amount of a green sticky substance. We have cleaned the switch up and reinstalled it for now but we will be replacing it this weekend. The switch is what I would call a contact switch. A flat piece of metal is bent above a base plate which when forced down by the plastic switch makes contact with the base allowing current to flow. My question is simply this: what is the green substance? is it plastic that possibly melted or does it serve some purpose?

It's not a fuse. it is a part of the switch mechanism.

It is called dielectric grease and is normal. It reduces arcing so the contacts last longer. It is fine that you have cleaned it out because "lasting longer" is not on the agenda for any switch that has become intermittent.

cavalier headlight issue?

its a 2.4 cavalier the lights were working and then i went to go somewhere again at night i have no headlights i checked all the fuses and nothing is blown the headlights work if i hold the switch just before it clicks to high beams but if i let it go the lights go out could it be a bad switch or a bad relay and another thing is i have a green headlight indicator on my dash that keeps flashing id turn my lights on when they worked and it would go off but now that the lights dont come on when i turn them on without holding the switch to make them come on as i stated above the green flashing light stays on any input would be appreciated and one more thing the brights wont even stay on if i turn thrm on but the will if i hold the switch in the position

from the sounds of things I'm going to say it's the switch the were really common failures on those things

What is a good rack/luggage for my Honda '07 400ex?

I have a 2007 Honda 400ex atv and am looking for advice from others who have experience with some good rack/luggage equipment for this quad. Basically I wanna go into the trails and be able to carry (waterproof too) a water bottle, cell phone, wallet, registration, proof of ins., and maybe a couple of other small things. (smokes, map, first aid, flashlight, pocket knife, rope, towel, gloves, snack, maybe big enough for ice and more drinks, etc., i dont know not everything just trying to name the usual stuff)

I'm looking for something that preferable doesn't detract away from the sporty atv look and nothing too bulky. But right now I'm considering either a tank bag or maybe just getting a rear rack and a bag.

Either way I don't do much racing, just trail riding, maybe a little jumping, just havin some fun. Just wanna be able to throw a bag on and be prepared when I hit the trails!
