In the five years since the last All Girl Summer Fun Band album, 2, the group lost one member, bassist Ari Douangpanya (who left to pursue motherhood), and had another member, drummer Kathy Foster, hit it big as a member of indie punks the Thermals. Neither of these two distractions has led to any drop in quality on 2008's Looking Into It, and the record is their most mature and fully realized release to date. Their approach hasn't changed much, still rollicking and sweet with equal parts indie pop and punky pop informing the sound. This time out, Kim Baxter's vocals are more assured and the songs revolve around more grown-up versions of crushes, heartbreak, and love though. No silly odes to Jason Lee or video games here. While those kinds of songs were fun, it's more satisfying to hear the bandmembers apply their considerable talents to songs with some real emotions flowing through them. It's also nice that the group has traded in the slightly shambling feel of previous efforts with a more focused and intense attack. Foster's more muscular drumming and the louder guitars keep things rocking on the uptempo tracks, and the lovely vocal harmonies give the ballads a real punch. Check the mostly instrumental title track or the almost heavy album closer, "This Will Never End," a song that betrays a previously unthinkable metal influence, for some serious rock action. On the softer side, look to "Rewind" or the fragile "Lost" for a dose of melancholy heartbreak. It's possible that fans of their earlier work will miss the more amateurish and cute element of the All Girl Summer Fun Band's sound; hopefully those fans will realize that the group has grown and changed without sacrificing the core of tenderness and energy that made it so good to begin with. The Browns--Maxine, Bonnie, and Jim Ed--are a trio of siblings that had tremendous success in the 1950s and 60s. Following in the tradition of the best of such books, such as Loretta`s Lynn`s Coal Miner`s Daughter, this memoir, told in Maxine`s own plucky, spirited style, delves deeply into the Browns` remarkable past, beginning with a Depression-era childhood in rural south Arkansas. From it emerged a duo, Maxine and Jim Ed, and in 1954 they had a Top Ten hit with "Looking Back to See." Sister Bonnie later joined them, and strengthened by shared experience they sang their way on to Little Rock`s Barnyard Frolic in 1952, and were soon regulars on the well-known Louisiana Hayride. They would eventually help a young Elvis Presley get started on the show and toured with him as their opening act, and it wasn`t long before he became a close friend of the family. im sure i hooked up right..ive done it before many times..i just got a brand new amp today and its doing the same things as my last one..the decorative led lights turn on but the protect nor the power lights turn on at all..i turned my car on and it doesnt turn on..im even hoping for the protect light to go on but none of them do. i disconnected my rcas and speaker wires.still nothing..it could be the ground? what do you guys think?
probably the power wire, the reason only the decorative lights are on is because the amp is getting a small amount of power from he remote turn on wire, but not enough to fully power the amp. Check to see if your getting 12-14volts at the amp with a multimeter or battery tester. Check any inline fuses on the power wire and then check and clean the ground.

Blue Interior 2008 "Deep Blue" Saturn Vue with a dark colored interior?
Is it possible to find a 2008 "Deep Blue" Saturn Vue with a dark colored interior? The dealers only seem to have that particular color with a tan interior. Personally, I think tan is hideous. Can I order a Deep Blue one with a black or dark grey interior?
go to saturn.com there is a section to "build" your own vehicle. i work at a pontiac dealership and my owner also owns 2 saturn dealerships. i have seen the deep blue vue with dark grey cloth interior. i do believe dark grey is the darkest for all of saturn vehicles though, i have never seen one with black interior.

Where to find Blue interior bulbs for my car?
I'm looking for a set with a dome and door lights. Are they legal? are they hard to install? What if i was to cover the existing bulbs with blue glass paint or something else would that work? Thx
autozone sells them ...and they should be illegal if they are on when your driving,,,,i bought some nice looking blue led lights that get power from the 12 lighter socket and they mount with 3m tape (included)
