Headlight Hid Kit Driver side headlight not working with HID kit?!?
So I bought a 1999 mustang gt a couple days ago and the driver side light flickered and sometimes worked and sometimes didnt. Finally it went completely out. I bought a who new HID conversion set with new bulbs, ballast and wiring and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
you could possibly have short or a loose connection. try to find a wiring diagram for the headlights and try tracing the wires back making sure all connecting are tight and make sure the wire are not rubbing against something else.

Can a mazda3 with halogen lighting be upgraded to the Xenon HID lighting in the S grand touring model?
I recently bought a mazda 3 S sport which came with halogen lighting, but i was wondering if it is possible for me to upgrade my car to the xenon hid lighting. is that possible to do? how much would it cost? would i need someone to install it for me? will it void my warranty with mazda?
If you mean FAKE HID (ie, blue painted halogens), you may do it provided you don't exceed with the blue (standard white is about 4,200K) and you keep the power at the standard value. That costs about twice the normal halogens but last about half the normal ones, a simple DIY job.
If you want REAL HID, it is quite expensive as the only LEGAL possibility is to replace the projectors (headlamp sets) with the OEM ones, install OEM bulbs and ballasts, modify harnesses, install auto-leveling and headlamp washers.
The intermediate route (aftermarket HIDs) costs less and leads to technical and legal problems.
I don't think you'd keep the warranty except if the OEM job was handled by a dealer, but then it would cost even more.

2.high intensity discharge (HID) and no its not halogen they last longer than halogens and doesn't get hot and there's no filament inside it its a burning gas

Why won't my HID high beams turn on?
I installed my new bi-xenon headlights yesterday and the high beams won't turn on. The low beams work perfectly fine. I am hoping I just wired them wrong but I need some help. If it helps this is the kit I bought.

They were suppose to be the two element bulbs. My stock bulbs that I took out had the high beams and low beams in the same bulb. These should have to same capabilities just HID lighting
With the 35w systems your stock wiring will work but with the 55w system you have to have a separate wiring for the power input. With the bi-xenon bulbs they should have the xenon bulb and a halogen bulb made into the bulb assembly. You may have to contact the business that sold them to you for better help.

All under-car lighting will either be controlled by some type of on and off switch because in most all states if they are not illegal they will be considered a distraction.....and if at all possible stay away from blue and red..those colors are for emergency vehicle use only.

For the most part, it could be used while showing off the car in a parking lot, but not while driving on a public roadway. If he has lighting installed, he'll have to switch them off while he's driving.
