Is it illegal to have LED lights on the exterior, and interior on while driving?

I am going to install these on the interior and exterior, but is it illegal in Canada, more specifically Nova scotia to have them on while driving? Be specific as possible if there is a certain speed limit and stuff

They are not illegal "BUT" it can cause a distraction to other drivers and that you can be cited for.

ground to negitive wire to the frame then hook the posiive around a fuse then put it back in then run ur on/off switch from the fuse the the leds and u should be good to go

Maglite Conversion Kits

Maglite flashlights are universally recognized as the industry leader in the flashlight market.  Their lights are the most dependable, high quality, durable, and trusted sources of light available today.  A Maglite typically lasts years, and you may be in the situation where you own a conventional Maglite flashlight and you would really like to have the more modern and powerful LED bulbs.  If you don't want to purchase a brand new light, either because you can't afford it or you prefer the one you already own, you may obtain a Maglite conversion kit.  There are a wide range of these conversion kits available and one of them is sure to be the right size for your flashlight.  If you find your self in the upgrade market, then you will want to consider purchasing one of these Maglite LED conversion kits.

Before you buy a kit, you need to be very careful about selecting the appropriate one.  The conversion kits will allow you to change your convention bulb to the more durable, powerful, and longer lasting LED light bulb.  Take this piece of advice seriously; you want to make sure these affordable kits are compliant with the warranty of your existing Maglite flashlight.  If don't check this out, your Maglite torch warranty may become void, and it could end up costing you a lot of extra money as well.

Where you need to be careful, is in purchasing a conversion kit that is not made by Maglite.  There are several of these available, and you need to have accurate information to determine which kit is right for your flashlight.  Here I give you a short review on a few of the more popular third party LED conversion kits available on the market, use this information at your discretion and benefit.

The Tektite LED conversion kit.  Now, this kit will fit a smaller segment of Maglite models.  In particular it is best suited for the Solitaire Maglite, and also those models that use a AA or AAA battery cell in them.  All that is required to complete the conversion is the replace your conventional bulb with the Nichia LED bulb that comes with the kit.  That is all there is to it and you are ready to rip.  This kit has a high rating, and I don't think you will have any problems using it.

The Terralux LED conversion kit.  This conversion kit is particularly impressive as it features a 3 watt Luxeon LED bulb and is compatible with any Maglite model flashlight that is designed with rechargeable batteries. This kit is really easy to use, and literally in a matter of seconds you can complete the bulb replacement and you are all set to go.  Be careful with this kit and make sure using it will not void your current flashlight warranty.  One issue that my arise is that after fitting the bulb you find that it does not work.  What has most likely happened is that you didn't fit the pins properly, and all that is needed is to reseat the bulb and the problem will be resolved.

The Opalec LED conversion kit.  This kit is solely for the purpose of converting the Mini Mag from a standard incandescent bulb to the modern LED bulb instead.  The way this kit has been designed is that it contains the bulb as well as a step-up type power supply needed to charge the bulb.  The kit uses three white LED lights and also included is an indicator to let you know when you have a low power condition.  The conversion kit also includes a scratch resistant lens and an adapter sleeve.

Whether you are in the military or a civilian, and you are looking for the very best flashlight available, you need to consider purchasing a Maglite flashlight.

So I have another question about headlights. Any advice?

I want to upgrade my lights to the RECON projector headlights. I'm definitley getting 8000k or 10000k hid lows, highs, and fogs with LED turn signals, clear cornered, the whol nine yards. Would the projectors be better? Will these lights definitley fit the hid bulbs and put out a better light?

you might want to investigate what bulb size would fit on the projector headlight. Is often use an H3 low beam or H1. I done a few projector headlight upgrades. I think the 8k would be nice with the projectors. I did some projectors on my 99 civic Ex and I bought my HID kits from www.ultrahid.com. They have a great product and good prices.
