Wiring LEDS Into A Car?
Alright I have done alot of led work on Xboxs and other gaming consoles. I have a very nice sound system, and i want to further that by adding LEDS to my car. The question I have is where would i connect for power?
Like scuba said, the LED's are most likely 3 volts so you will either need to wire 4 in series to make up the 12 volts, or you will need a resistor to make up the rest of the voltage, the easiest way is to run a cluster of 4, because 4 x 3 = 12, if you want more than 12 then you will need another cluster in parallel to the 12 volt source, and so on for however many you want.

LEDs for Lighting Applications (Hardcover) $108.41 Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are no longer confined to use in commercial signage and have now moved firmly, and with unquestioned advantages, into the field of commercial and domestic lighting.
