i have a dell laptop (inspiron 6000), which i am planning on adding 0603 SMT/SMD leds to it. I plan on using the speakers as the power source. i found out that the speakers are not measured in volts, its rated at 4 ohms and the amp puts out 1 watt per channel. I plan on connecting 2 leds to each speaker. So how do i find out what to do?

I just bought 28 surface mount led's for my xbox controllers and xbox itself and i've seen places saying buy smd and ive seen places saying buy smt and im wondering what the difference is? There 0603 leds if it helps.
SMD stands for "surface mount device". SMT stands for "surface mount technology". In the description of electronic components, both are referring to surface mount components. 0603 is area form factor for electronic components. It is an area of 60 mil by 30 mil. There are other form factors such as 0402, 0805, 1206, etc.
The form factor of the component should match with corresponding soldering copper trace on PCB.

I want to convert the 2 small dome lights in my Audi to blue but I have no idea if they make LEDs that size. The bulb is 12V 5W and it says 3860 on it (im guessing thats the bulb size) Can anyone tell me what i should do in order to convert my lights.
