Is there anyway to hook up my led strips to my night time running lights?

I have a g35 sedan and I already hooked my leds to my day time running lights but they shut off as soon as I turn on my lights. They also turn off when I start to drive my car. Is there anyone that can show me instructions or help me out?

what is the purpose for that white painted bar across the street at stop signs and lights.?

why do you think people pull past the white stop bar when they stop at a red light or stop sign.

That white line is also the "crosswalk" for pedestrians. thats why you're not supposed to cross them, that's where people walk. but in country areas where there aren't any people crossing, it's just a safety line to keep the intersection clear.

Some people cross the line because they feel that it's just way, too far back. Sometimes they need to see what's coming so they can turn, etc.

The intersection is supposed to be clear of any cars pulled up into it.

for what reasons would my flourescent light bulbs flash after the power has been turned off?

my flourescent light bulb in my room flashes in non regular intervals of around a minute, the flashes are extrememly short burts and only one bulb ever flashes,

so far my thoughts are 1) that if the power was coming from the main supply all the bulbs would flash, and that the power must be coming from somewhere along the bulbs own parrallel (as in its own line on the circuit) and then is earthed.

and 2) there is some form of E.M. radiation, possibly coming from wires close by that is flowing through the bulb causing it to light up for a short amount of time, which seems pretty outlandish.

I'm going to assume there is nothing wrong with your wiring.
Though to determine that, you might switch the bulbs.

Flourescent bulbs need a "boost" to get them started, but once started, it doesn't take much to keep them going - at least dimmly.
The ballast gives it that boost to get it going.
Some brands/wattages are don't need as much to keep them going...

My guess is that the one you see flash isn't really going completely out - because then it would need the boost to get going again.
(try looking at in the real dark and see if there is any glow at all).

There are lots of sources of electricity in the air.
Overhead power lines?
High Power radio stations nearby?

Either could cause enough electricity in the air to keep the bulb glowing.
The burst could be something to do with the energy bursting, or the bulb just heating and cooling.

I've been in buildings with overhead power lines where all the lights glowed when turned off. It was spooky.
If you were outside on a damp day, you could hear the insulators arcing and sparking. The lights flickerd in synch with that.

I visited a radio station transmitter site where they had taped flourescent tubes to the all the walls with duct tape. It was th eonly lighting. They all glowed pretty bright... That was really spooky.
They were bright enough that it got me pondering how long I wanted to stay there.
I also wondered outloud what would happen if the transmitter went down.
I think they bought a flashlight after I mentioned that.

If you do have overhead power lines, you might try a parlor trick.
Go outside and hold a bulb vertical (towards the wires) and hold the end.
If the lines are high enough voltage, you can play light saber.

Blue City Park

What areas around Kansas City are the best? And with the best schools?

We will be relocating to Kansas City in April. I have read that Overland Park and Olathe are good on the KS side and places like Lee's Summit, Raytown, and Blue Springs are good on the MO side. I've also heard that schools on the MO side are not as good as schools on the KS side...??? Can anybody out there help me with this?

Keep in mind that we are moving from Alabama, with some of the worst schools in the nation (my daughter currently attends a private school), so the worst school in MO may still be better than the best school in Alabama!

My sister, he husband and two children lived in the Blue Hills area, which was nice for quite some time. I was up there in '96 and it didn't seem as nice. There house backed uo to a golf course, that's good no neighbors behide you.

Schools weren't that good so they sent theirs to private school, their grades were so goodthey were selected to go to UK.

I would do a lot of research, maybe even spend a week up there and see the city in action,

I got a ticket for parking on a state hwy that the city had temp. put up handicap parking signs tied to orange?

caution cones. The city violated CA vehic. codes 22511.7 (b)(1) & (2) . No blue paint. No sign that stated the fine, and when I parked there, there was no sign at all in my spot, but it appeared when I returned 15 mins. later, next to my car. Parking cop says they can do that by using 22507 (a), but I don't see anywhere in there that allows them to do what they did. Am I wrong? Do I have a chance in court?
