ok im about to buy some xenon hid lights for my car and i have been researching on which color is the brightest (most blinding) and i got down to 4300k and 5000k. which one is brightest? oh and what is a safe website that i can order Halo projector headlights from? thank you for your time

Can a mazda3 with halogen lighting be upgraded to the Xenon HID lighting in the S grand touring model?
I recently bought a mazda 3 S sport which came with halogen lighting, but i was wondering if it is possible for me to upgrade my car to the xenon hid lighting. is that possible to do? how much would it cost? would i need someone to install it for me? will it void my warranty with mazda?
If you mean FAKE HID (ie, blue painted halogens), you may do it provided you don't exceed with the blue (standard white is about 4,200K) and you keep the power at the standard value. That costs about twice the normal halogens but last about half the normal ones, a simple DIY job.
If you want REAL HID, it is quite expensive as the only LEGAL possibility is to replace the projectors (headlamp sets) with the OEM ones, install OEM bulbs and ballasts, modify harnesses, install auto-leveling and headlamp washers.
The intermediate route (aftermarket HIDs) costs less and leads to technical and legal problems.
I don't think you'd keep the warranty except if the OEM job was handled by a dealer, but then it would cost even more.

White Xenon Hid Aftermarket HID lights On one side looks less bluish than the other side and I dont know why, any solution?
I own a 08 Volvo s40, and when i bought it, it came with normal halogen bulbs, recently, like 4 months ago, I got an after market HID xenon lights and I installed it myself, they worked fantastic, they are 8000k bulb size H11. Now a week ago i noticed that one side looks kinda white and the other side keeps the original blue 8000k color, I checked the wires, the bulb, the ballast and everything seems fine, theres no flickering, just the blue color has vanished a significant level to tell the difference between sides, and i dont like it. Is there any solution to this? or is there a special reason for this problem? thanks

I've had good experience with PHILIPS H7R Night Guide. They come in two varieties: H7R for reflector beams (the traditional type) and H7S for projector (polyellipsoidal) beams - the one with the lens in front. The light is normal white with a slightly yellowish band to the left and a bluish one to the right, while the central area remains bright (almost daylight) white.
The issue here is the color - blue is bad for eyesight and service life. Many aftermarket products (especially the "+50 percent light output" kind) have ridiculously low service life. Combined with twice the cost of normal halogens, it increases your $pg.
Beware of higher power bulbs, illegal in most countries.
