red and blue lights on show vehicle in Nevada?

I have some CLEAR lens red/blues that im putting in my truck. i am a light installer for the government on all the police cars and such and they are going on a demonstration/show vehicle that is also my daily driver. im installing lights to show customers the newest and greatest products. also because my truck is a zombie defense themed truck. all my lights have clear lenses when off so the color is not distinguishable. i would like to know (from law savvy individuals) what the law is with this. ive been told that if im responsible and you cant see red or blue when theyre off than its fine.

i would like lawful answers and not opinions whether or not you THINK its a bad idea.
but thats what im saying. you can clearly see blue on those cars. the lights im working with...are clear when off. looks like glass. and i only use them in front of customers and in shows....off public roads
